Hutchison Girls Honored for Leadership & Volunteerism

Five Hutchison students were among seven Memphis-area students honored at The Salvation Army’s Founders’ Day program for their leadership in volunteerism and fundraising.
Owen Hergenrader ’18 (front row), Clairborne Collier ‘23, Dabney Collier ‘20 along with Macy McCullough ’18 (back row) and Elizabeth Cole ’19 were inducted into the Salvation Army Order of the Bell society and recognized by Captain Shelley Bell (left), Shelby County Mayor Mark Luttrell (center), and Captain Zach Bell (right), during the program. All five are active members and leaders of the Salvation Army teen volunteer group, called the Give, Pray, Serve Squad, which organizes and hosts hands-on events once a month benefitting the women and children assisted by the Purdue Center of Hope and the Kroc Center of Memphis.
