Hutchison presents Hadestown: Teen Edition with Hutchison students in grades 7-12 and boys grades 9-12. Hadestown: Teen Edition is an adaptation of Anaïs Mitchell's acclaimed folk opera, reimagining the Greek myth of Orpheus and Eurydice. It follows the young lovers, Orpheus and Eurydice, and also features the intertwined love story of Hades and Persephone. The story explores themes of love, hope, sacrifice, and resilience set against a backdrop of American folk music and vintage New Orleans jazz.
