  • Distinguished Alumna Award

    In conjunction with our 2002 Centennial celebration, Hutchison presented the first Distinguished Alumna Award to recognize and celebrate alumnae who are making a difference in the world through exceptional professional achievement, singular artistic creation, and selfless and visionary service.
  • Alumna Service to Hutchison Award

    To recognize and express the school's appreciation for exceptional and longstanding service to and advocacy for Hutchison, the Alumna Service to Hutchison was conceived in 2016. The inaugural winner, Betty Riggan Padgett '60, was presented the award on April 8, 2016.
  • Anne Marie Newton Walker '47 Philanthropy Award

    Created in 2010, this award recognizes alumnae who have made Hutchison School a philanthropic priority. Like the award's namesake, Anne Marie Newton Walker '47, these alumnae are passionately committed to enhancing and sustaining Hutchison's commitment to developing the mind, body, and spirit of our girls for success and fulfillment in college and in life.

    Honorary Alumnae recipients are active, vibrant individuals with a caring concern for Hutchison, their communities, and their families. They have brought honor to themselves and the school, and demonstrably reflect Miss Hutchison's values and her passionate commitment to girls' education.

  • Hutchison Distinguished Alumna Award

    2019 Recipient: Brittany Trimble '08

    The Hutchison Distinguished Alumna Award recognizes and celebrates alumnae who are making a difference in the world through exceptional professional achievement, singular artistic creation, and selfless and visionary service. We are proud to announce the recipient of the 2019 Distinguished Alumna Award is Brittany Trimble '08, who serves as a Captain in the United States Air Force as an F-16 pilot. She has been a commissioned officer in the Air Force since 2012.
  • Anne Marie Newton Walker '47 Philanthropy Award

    2019 Recipient: Olivia Brinkley Sprunt Dowell '70

    Created in recognition of Anne Marie’s passion for, and service to, her alma mater, The Anne Marie Newton Walker ’47 Philanthropy Award is presented to an alumna who advances philanthropy to Hutchison through personal giving and serves as an inspiration to the larger community to give. This year’s award recipient is Olivia Brinkley Sprunt Dowell '70, trustee of the Brinkley Foundation. Olivia and her family's foundation have given generously to Hutchison for more than 20 years to capital improvements, creating the Sprunt room, the annual fund, endowment, and most recently, financial assistance with a gift to this year's challenge grant. Olivia and her husband Jack are positive advocates throughout the Hutchison community, inspiring others to join them in supporting the school.
Hutchison is the leading private girls school in Memphis for ages 2 years old through twelfth grade.
