Protest: One Ticket, Two Plays

Hutchison's middle school theatre program has teamed up with Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal School to present Protest: One Ticket, Two Plays in a free virtual theatre experience via Zoom on Friday, October 2, and Saturday, October 3, at 7:00 pm.

Hutchison’s one-act play entitled, Lifting as We Climb, focuses on historic events and documents plus creative writing and movement by middle school students around the women's suffrage movement for the right to vote. Grace-St. Luke's one-act play, Testament 2020, focuses on historic speeches and reflective writing about freedom and the civil rights movement.
