Social & Emotional Support for Students

Feelings of uncertainty and anxiety may be more prevalent for students as they deal with persistent disruptions resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic and the impact on their daily lives. We remain committed to building and supporting both the social and the emotional well-being of our girls. Using information and resources from a variety of experts on social-emotional learning (SEL), our counselors, teachers, and advisors will help our girls understand and practice self-care, adaptation to change, emotional regulation, relationship building, and communication of needs.
Girls thrive when connected to their community. We will continue to foster connectivity by providing opportunities for sharing feelings, prioritizing equity, enjoying time together, and developing life skills. During these challenging times, we will utilize opportunities for growth to create resilience, emotional stamina, and supportive connections through our social emotional programming for students and our professional development for faculty.
