Cloth Face Coverings

Until further notice, all faculty/staff and girls in grades 1-12 are required to wear face coverings that cover their noses and mouths at all times while on campus except during meals or when instructed to remove them.
Cloth face coverings may not have any openings or exhalation valves or display words or logos other than Hutchison or “H.” Face shields may be worn in addition to face coverings, but not as a substitute. While not required to wear cloth coverings in the classroom, girls in early childhood and kindergarten are strongly encouraged to wear them in classrooms. All girls will be required to wear cloth face coverings in common spaces.

Girls in grades 1-12 may only remove their cloth face coverings when outdoors and are instructed to do so for the purposes of eating or drinking.

All teachers will be provided a face shield and are welcome to wear it at their discretion.
Hutchison is the leading private girls school in Memphis for ages 2 years old through twelfth grade.
