Haley Clift '19 Gains Insight into the Corporate World through Internship with Hutchison Alumna

Haley Clift '19 interned with LEO Events, a global corporate events firm headquartered in Memphis.
With clients such as Wal-Mart, AutoZone, and Blue Cross Blue Shield, LEO Events offered Haley the opportunity to build on her experience running Hutchison's Beeline Bazaar as junior class president.

During her time at LEO, Haley participated in client meetings and brainstormed logistics leading up to several large scale events run by LEO. The pinnacle of her experience were two events, the National Civil Rights Museum's "Night at the Lorraine" and LeBonheur Hospital's "LeBon Appetit."
Haley says "Interning with LEO Events gave me insight into the corporate world that I did not have prior to my work with them. I learned about interrelations among local corporations that exist to put on large-scale fundraising events."

LEO Events' co-founder is alumna Cindy Crill Brewer '87. Cindy's leadership and accomplishments serve as an inspiration to our Hutchison girls like Haley. We are grateful for our alumnae who give of their time and energy to mentor our interns.
