Beauty and the Beast Nominated in Orpheum High School Musical Theater Awards
We are proud to announce that the Hutchison theatre department’s production of Beauty and the Beast has been nominated for four different awards this year by the Orpheum High School Musical Theater Awards.
Hutchison’s production of Beauty and the Beast earned nominations for: Olivia Wilkinson '17 - Outstanding Supporting Actress Olivia Trippeer '19 - Student Technical Achievement Award Elizabeth Austin '20 - Student Creative Achievement Award Benjamin Cheng - Outstanding Supporting Actor
Schools from across the Midsouth compete for the awards each year, including 30 different schools and over 200 nominees. In the past, Hutchison has been nominated for over 50 different awards from the High School Musical Theater Awards. The awards will be held on May 26, 2017, this year at the Orpheum Theater.
