Middle School Writers Earn Awards in State-Wide Contest
Hutchison girls recently competed in “Letters About Literature,” a state-wide literature competition for students in grades 4-12.
As a part of the competition, girls wrote letters to authors of their choice with whom they felt a connection. Humanities Tennessee sponsors the state competition and selects the panel of judges each year, while the Library of Congress sponsors the national program.

Hutchison world language students participated in the 2025 U of M Language Fair, sponsored by The University of Memphis Department of World Languages and Literatures. Demonstrating their knowledge of Spanish and Chinese, Hutchison had nine upper school girls win awards at the fair.

Our innovative middle school STEM explorations class is designed to inspire young girls to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
