Hutchison’s varsity lacrosse team is currently ranked #23 in the nation and #1 in the state of Tennessee by MaxPreps.com and #1 in the South by US Lacrosse Magazine.
During the 2016-2017 season, the varsity lacrosse team has excelled in competitive play not only in Tennessee, but around the nation. Our team traveled to California to compete against some of the top lacrosse teams in that region. The Sting went undefeated against Mater Dei, St. Margaret's, and Foothill, all highly ranked teams, during their road trip.
Since beginning our lacrosse program in 2000, Hutchison varsity lacrosse has captured a total of eight state titles. Many Hutchison lacrosse athletes have been named to the all state and regional teams as well as All-American lists. Quite a few have gone on to play at the collegiate level after completing their education at Hutchison.
