Girls Excel in Latin Competition and National Exam
Hutchison's Latin team earned second place overall in their division at the 2018 Tennessee Junior Latin Convention! Several girls also distinguished themselves on the National Latin Exam including Frances Cates '21 who received a perfect score in Latin II.
This is the first time that Latin teacher Ms. Virginia Baird has had a student receive a perfect score on the National Latin Exam since she began teaching more than 30 years ago.
Congratulations to all of the girls for their hard work and dedication to the study of Latin!

It’s a special memory for Gabrielle Arkle ’12. When she was younger, she visited the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola, Florida. The museum features more than 150 restored aircraft representing the Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard aviation.
