Opening Our New Training Center
On Wednesday, August 24, our Hutchison community celebrated the grand opening of the Brenda and Lester Crain Center.
At the celebration, Dr. Smith and the Crain family welcomed the crowd of upper school girls to explore the two-story Crain Center that features athletic training and conditioning rooms, home and visiting locker rooms, public restrooms, a concession stand, an aerobics/dance area, and a balcony that overlooks Dobbs Field. The Crain Center will serve not only as a training center for our Sting athletes, but also as a training center used by upper school girls to monitor their health and fitness goals under the tutelage and coaching of two dedicated strength and conditioning specialists. This training and conditioning facility is named in honor of Brenda and Lester Crain, whose generous gift to the school made the center possible. The Crain Center building will support our wellness and fitness program in the Upper School as well as our athletic program.
Check out this sneak peek of our girls testing out the Crain Center's training and conditioning equipment for the first time!
