Upper School Vocal Ensemble Performs at Carnegie Hall

Vocal Point had the once-in-a-lifetime experience of performing on the Carnegie Hall stage!

As part of WorldStrides Performing Arts’ Festival at Carnegie Hall, our talented upper school vocal ensemble joined elite music groups from across the country in performing on one of the world's most prestigious stages. They worked with world-renowned conductors and additional music professionals in preparing for their performance of six songs, including “Gloria in Excelsis” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water” by Paul Simon.

Vocal Point also got to experience the rich history and tradition of arts that are part of the diverse culture of New York City. They saw “Hadestown” on Broadway, enjoyed good food and more show tunes at Gayle's Broadway Rose, went sightseeing, took in amazing views from the Top of the Rock, and relived their childhoods at the American Girl Store. What an unforgettable trip for our girls!

Vocal Point enjoyed hearing the folksy and jazzy music of “Hadestown” at the Walter Kerr Theatre.
