Special Awards
Kirby and Glenn Floyd Excellence in Service Scholarship Award
This award is given annually to a Hutchison girl whose service efforts create lasting, positive changes in the community. Considerations for the selection of a winning project include the girl’s commitment to sustainability, overall impact, innovation, and servant leadership.

Velma Thorn Cunningham Service Award
This award is given in memory and honor of the 1973 Hutchison graduate who dedicated her life to serving others. It is given to a senio who has demonstrated an outstanding and consistent commitment to volunteer activities.

This award is given to a sophomore participant in the Institute for Responsible Citizenship who exemplifies the qualities of a servant leader.
