Super Women in Business
The Memphis Business Journal named Head of School Dr. Annette Smith and alumna Susan Springfield '82 to their list of local "Super Women in Business."
Each year the Memphis Business Journal honors 25 local women who lead area corporations, small businesses, nonprofits, and other institutions. This list recognizes 25 of our community's most accomplished and influential women in business.
When asked what motivated her to get to where she is today, Annette said "I wanted to make a difference in the lives of my students - to open up possibilities for them that they had not dreamed of or considered."
Susan, who serves as the executive vice president and chief credit officer for First Horizon National Corp., described the way she measures success. "I think success is measured largely by the ability to inspire and develop people who will lead in the future."
