SPARK After-School Care

  • Extending the School Day

After-School SPARK is a traditional after-school program that is available for girls in Little Hive through 8th grade every afternoon from school dismissal until 6:00 pm, as well as on specific school holidays. Students are provided with a snack and an assortment of age-appropriate activities each day. Registration is required for all after-school options.

  • Little Hive (2 Year Old) to Junior Kindergarten

    Age-appropriate activities include crafts, games, and outside play. Monthly 3-day or 5-day options are available.

  • Kindergarten to 4th Grade

    Age-appropriate activities include homework time, crafts, games, and outside play. Monthly 3-day or 5-day options are available.

  • 5th and 6th Grade

    Students are provided with a quiet environment for relaxing and studying after school. Monthly 3-day or 5-day options are available.

  • 7th and 8th Grade

    Students are provided with a quiet environment for relaxing and studying after school. Monthly 3-day or 5-day options are available.

    **New This Year: Option for a supervised holding area before sports, theater, or CFE activities until 4:30 pm at no charge. Registration is required.

  • Fees

    Three-day option - $198/month*
    Five-day option-$249/month*
    Holiday and school break program $50/day.

You can mix and match SPARK and CFE programs throughout the year based on your daughter’s interests. Both programs expand her Hutchison experience of growing and exploring in a safe and healthy environment.

  • Explore Programs in the CFE

    During the school year, the Annette C. Smith Center for Excellence features semester-long programs that are available one or two days per week. Parents may combine a three-day SPARK After-School Care option with two days of CFE activities to round out the week. CFE programming includes academics, athletics, and the arts.
