The Most Highly Anticipated Day of the Year

Oh what a bee-utiful Black and Gold Day! Hutchison celebrated our annual school spirit day on Friday, September 23.
Black and Gold Day is a special time of year set aside to celebrate school unity and pride at Hutchison. This year our most highly anticipated school spirit day featured faculty, staff, and students alike in creative costumes, a school-wide parade around campus, fun indoor and outdoor games, snow cones, special performances by the Beale Street Flippers and the Central High School marching band. The event also marked Head of School Dr. Annette Smith's final Black and Gold Day celebration and we celebrated her leadership at Hutchison over the past 16 years.
