Bonner Williams '12 was interviewed by MSNBC for its series "Women in Politics," which looks to foster a larger discussion on women candidates and women's issues on a national level. Williams recently graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a major in Economics & Strategy and Organization & Human Resources. She was nominated by the University as a leader making a difference not only through key issues on campus, but in bridging the gender gap in politics.

When asked how feminism played a role in her life she responded, “As a proud alumna of Hutchison School, I was lucky enough to grow up in an environment that fostered the development of strong, independent women. Hutchison provided me with a space where I was surrounded by female leaders and provided opportunities to become a leader in my areas of interest. Hutchison helped me become confident in my abilities, which has directly impacted my involvements in college and plans for after graduation.”

We always are happy to see our alumnae recognized, and we are glad that Hutchison played a key role in Bonner's success and confidence after graduation. Read Bonner's interview in its entirety.
