Five Juniors Selected to Attend Tennessee Governor’s School Summer Programs

Five Hutchison scholars will participate in high-intensity summer programs in subjects including computational physics, international studies, and theatre at universities across the state.
Eleanor Bridgforth ’23, Juliette Forgette ’23, Loralei Forgette ’23, Isabelle Mansour ’23, and Emmy Walton ’23 have been selected to attend 2022 Tennessee Governor’s School summer programs.

Eleanor Bridgforth ’23 will attend the Integration of Biological & Statistical Sciences program at East Tennessee State University. Juliette Forgette ’23 will focus on theatre in the Arts program at Middle Tennessee State University. Loralei Forgette ’23 and Isabelle Mansour ’23 will participate in the International Studies program at the University of Memphis. Emmy Walton ’23 will attend the Computational Physics program at Austin Peay State University. 

The Tennessee Governor's Schools provide challenging and summer programs for gifted and talented high school students. We are proud of our girls for all of their hard work and what they will accomplish this summer! Hutchison alumnae including Sophie Merchant ’17, Ilsa Saeed ’16, Gabi Stein ’15, and Katie Daniel ’14 have attended Governor’s School programs in the past.
