An endowment for financial assistance is one of Dr. Kristen Ring’s priorities for this school year. An anonymous donor has issued a challenge to fund tuition assistance so that financial need is not a barrier for a qualified girl who would thrive in the Hutchison environment.
Financial Assistance at Hutchison
The majority of families currently receiving tuition assistance pay at least half of their daughter’s tuition.
An independent third party determines how much a qualified family can reasonably budget for tuition.
No family receives assistance for full tuition.
Hutchison lags behind peer schools. For example, Hutchison awards approximately $1.4 million over 15 grades while MUS awards $2.6 million over just six grades.
