Certificate of Arts
An integral part of a complete education, the Hutchison fine arts curriculum, from Early Childhood to Upper School, enables girls to acquire an aesthetic foundation that opens their minds to creative problem solving, original expression, and a lifelong appreciation for art in its many forms. The depth of instruction and breadth of fine arts offerings in the visual arts, music, dance, and theatre demonstrate Hutchison’s commitment to providing the highest level of art instruction in the region. Within this enriching environment, girls develop their artistic talents and identify new interests, becoming active participants in a shared journey of inspiration.

A faculty of experienced arts educators and practicing arts professionals nurture, mentor, and motivate students as they participate in a world of stimulating art experiences. Girls of all ages create and exhibit original works and perform on stage in recitals, concerts, and theatrical productions. Through an interdisciplinary approach, the exchange of ideas across academic and artistic disciplines strengthens instruction and forges meaningful connections to the world.
