Auditions: Beauty and the Beast

Grades 7-12

Open to Hutchison girls and boys from the community in grades 7-12.

Auditons will run from August 24 at 2:30 pm, August 25 at 3:30 pm and August 26 at 3:30pm for Hutchison girls and boys from the community in grades 7-12. Please prepare a monologue no longer than 60 seconds and 16-32 bars of a song. Please bring the sheet music.

SPECIAL SIXTH GRADE AUDITIONS

Due to the rental costume, the fine arts department announces a special audition for sixth graders who are 4 feet and 10 inches tall or smaller for the role of Chip in Disney's Beauty and the Beast. The audition will be held on August 29 at 4:00pm-5:00pm in Leiza Collin's vocal studio in Dobbs. You will sign a section of 'Human Again' and cold read from the script. Copies of the song selection can be picked up in the fine arts hallway in the theater by Mr. Rapp's office.
